Diwali is a festival of lights that marks the victory of good over evil in Hindu mythology. 

This joyous festival is celebrated by South Asians all over the world and is India’s most important holiday. People celebrate and wish for blessings of good fortune by lighting millions of lamps and exchanging sweets. 
5:30–6:30pm: Worship ritual
6:30–7pm: Procession of lights
