SoFo's Young Birders Club
The South Fork Natural History Museum's Young Birders Club meets on the third Saturday of each month and is open to anyone age 8-18 interested in learning about birds.
Meetings focus on birding in local areas since Long Island has many great habitats that are home to a wide variety of species. Please bring binoculars and a field guide to birds of the eastern United States if you have them (they have a few binoculars to lend).
Please note that, as mandated by the latest State Executive Order regarding COVID-19 safety precautions, the number of participants for outdoor nature walks is limited. SOFO will at all times follow stringent six-feet distancing separation protocols required by the Department of Health for the safety of participants and environmental educators. Masks and gloves are provided for all attendees.
Advance reservations are required for all events. To register for this walk, which is limited to 25 people, please email email@example.com. Spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and your reservation will be confirmed by email.
