<p>Celebrate the start of the season at this festive, family-friendly winter kickoff in the heart of Wyandanch wheere families can enjoy the grand ice rink opening, shops, photos with Santa James of Santa Your Way and more. <!--break--> The Rinx staff is on hand to assist with rentals and offer helpful skating tips for beginners and seasoned skaters alike.</p>

<p>At 12:30pm, gather around the rink for Holiday Party on Ice,&nbsp;an exceptional 25-minute professional performance by Ice Dance International featuring top U.S. competitive skater Emmanuel Savary, Russia’s Danil Berdnikov, and NYC duo Karina Manta &amp; Joe Johnson. NOTE:&nbsp;skate sessions continue&nbsp;4 to 8pm. Thursdays and Fridays; noon to 8pm. Saturdays and&nbsp;noon to 6pm. Sundays;&nbsp;$8, $5 ages 17 and under; and admission includes skate rentals.</p>

<p>Don’t miss a visit with Santa James of <a href="http://phenomenalreflectionsstudio.square.site">Santa Your Way</a>, available for free photos from 1:45–3:45pm. Additional photo sessions are available by appointment through December 28.</p>

<p><p>Stroll the Holiday Little Shops for unique gifts, winter goodies, and seasonal treats from local vendors. Kids can dive into holiday crafts, face painting, and interactive games, while the whole family enjoys live music and community performances that bring extra cheer to the plaza.</p>
