One River in Woodbury is offering Winter Camp classes during the December school break.

Running from Tuesday, December 27 until Friday, December 30. They will have artistic opportunities for all ages!

These camp classes include: Animated Snow Globes, Winter Sketch Series, One Artwork a Day: Winter Edition, Ipad Painting, as well as Frozen Watercolors.

Animated Snow Globes (Grades 6-12): Discover how to create an animated looping GIF of a snow globe in this fun digital art camp for teens.

• Learn to illustrate and animation and animate using Adobe Photoshop.
• Explore methods of digital rendering, painting and animation.
• Create an original snow globe design.

Winter Sketch Series (Grades 3-5 & 6-12): Perfect way for teens to explore sketching and learn techniques that they can take with them for all their future sketchbook adventures.

• Explore haching, cross-hatching, stippling, scribbling and shading.
• Evoke different emotions through your sketches daily.
• Bring home a new sketch each day across varieties of subject matter.

One Artwrk A Day: Winter Edition (Grades 3-5 & Grades 6-12): Best for young artists wanting to explore different paths within the fine arts. Over the course of 4 days, you will learn important fundamentals about drawing, sculpting,  and painting. 

• Learn more about where youe talent shines brightest.
• Breakdown barriers between traditional forms of studio art.
• Bring home 3 mini-projects in he winter theme.

Ipad Painting (Grades 3-5): This class is designed for beginners to develop a foundational understanding of the program and discover unique skills to aid them in their future projects!

• Learn to use Procreate on your iPad with this iPad with this introductory camp. Students will explore a series of illustractions.
• Explore methods of rendering characters and digital painting.

Frozen Watercolors (Grades K-2): Explore underwater creatures from the familiar sea turtle to the exotic vampire squid--students will learn a variety of watercolor painting techniques as they create unique underwater scenes.

• Learn how to use watercolor paints and techniques.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the watercolor medium and different painting tools.
• Complete a series of waterclor paintings of various underwater scenes.
