Slip on your “sock skates” and take a spin on the Long Island Children's Museum's indoor rink, made from a high-tech synthetic polymer surface that lets kids slide around without blades.

November 11-12 opening weekend activities:

  • Let’s Skate: New York is one of the best places to enjoy outdoor and pond skating. Make your own winter wonderland scene complete with a moving skater. 
  • Snowball Popper: Design your very own pompom-tossing snow friend to take home. 

The exhibit is in residence from through January 7, 2024. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am-5pm.
