The Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society hosts a Habitat Restoration 101 for Kids event in conjunction withe Friends of Bellport Bay. Touch and feel marine species caught with seine nets and take a nature walk to find natural artifacts. Make notes for a journal that you'll get to take home. Registration is necessary to obtain a parking pass at Mother's Beach.
