Raptor Day: Meet Live, Rescued Birds Up Close at the Vanderbilt Museum

The Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum will present Raptor Day: The Bald Eagles of Centerport on Saturday, September 25. It will be held rain or shine in the Vanderbilt Celebration Tent. Four sessions available: 10am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. This will be held at the Vanderbilt Estate and Museum, originally named “Eagle’s Nest” and will feature a live exhibit of rescued raptors, with a bald eagle, golden eagle, owls, hawks, and more. Wildlife in Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation houses the birds and rehabilitates them. Bring your camera! The event, which will benefit WINORR and the Vanderbilt Museum, as well as Museum programs.
