Light up the summer night sky at the Long Island Children's Museum by making a decorative glow-in-the-dark lightning bug jar.

Did you know that lightning bugs glow because of a chemical reaction called bioluminescence? They use this to communicate with other lightning bugs. 

General admission tickets with a start time of 1pm or earlier and should be reserved or purchased prior to your visit to allow for time to do the craft. Guests can reserve or purchase general admission ahead of time.
