Grand Reopening & Expansion of Dinosaurs & Animals Exhibit at The Center for Science Teaching & Learning
- see all dates
The Center for Science, Teaching & Learning (CSTL) is reopening its expanded Dinosaurs! and Peoples United Bank Animal Adventure attraction, featuring new animatronic dinosaurs that are located both inside and outside the exhibition hall. New additions include a mother Triceratops and baby, a Citipati and Parasaurolophus.
The exhibit opened in 2019 and features 20-foot tall model dinosaur skeletons, 17-foot animatronic dinosaur models, floor-to-ceiling hand-painted prehistoric dinosaur murals and an assortment of live wild animals. This exhibit is also the first geothermically-run exhibit hall in New York State and the first wild animal park in Nassau County.
The Center for Science, Teaching and Learning is open 10am - 4pm (closed on Wednesdays).
