The Queen Mary

The Scottish-built Queen Mary celebrates its heritage with the 27th annual Queen Mary’s ScotsFestival and International Highland Games.

The festival honors nearly fifty Scottish clans & vendors throughout the weekend with professional and amateur competitions in darts, piping, drumming, massed bands, Highland dancing, and Highland athletics. The Scottish Highland Games, a pre-cursor to today’s Olympic Games, was designed to test the strength, skill and technique of ancient warriors by face offs.

Saturday evening the festivities extend into the evening with an add-on ($10) Ceilidh, a traditional Gaelic dancing party.

This year's Rock Yer Kilt concert will feature headlining act 1916, Bad Haggis, Brick Top Blaggers, Stand Easy and DJ Abel. - See more at:
