This week we bid goodbye to summer vacation and say hello to the new school year.

Calling all Dickens fans: Come try out for a role in Port Jefferson's December festival.
Dickens Festival casting — Port Jefferson
Enjoy one last character casting for the 22nd annual Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival on December 2-3. Teen and tweens are encouraged to attend. The meeting runs from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Port Jefferson Village Center.
