Are you still looking for good camp options for December Vacation? Need some structure for your little one during the time off from preschool, or a great gift for your budding artist? We’ve found a few more vacation week camps, and a couple of them are for little tykes, too! Read on to find out more about camps for nature enthusiasts, LEGO fanatics, young artists, and preschoolers with a lot of energy to burn.

Super Soccer Stars - Winter Break Kick & Craft

If your little one has a lot of energy and creativity, the Super Soccer Stars Winter Break Kick & Craft is the perfect place to spend part of December vacation. Your mini-Messi will get 2.5 hours of soccer games and activities, arts & crafts, and a snack. Hmm, what will you do with that time?

Arsenal Center for the Arts – December Vacation Workshops
Watertown
 
A December Vacation Workshop at Arsenal Center for the Arts would make the perfect gift for a young aspiring artist. The workshops are offered in the morning and afternoon, with supervised lunch available to make it (almost) a full day. A special one-day workshop lets kids try out a wide variety of media. The two-day workshop focuses on great artists: Students will look at reproductions of work by famous artists like Picasso, Calder, Monet and Van Gogh – and use them for inspiration to create their own masterpieces.

Puddlestompers Nature Exploration – December Vacation Week
Newton & Wellesley

It’s winter, but that doesn’t mean kids should stay indoors! During Puddlestompers Nature Exploration programs, children discover the wonders of nature through hands-on exploration, active movement, outdoor play, crafts, stories, and songs. A snack is provided each day, and kids bring a nut-free lunch. They take home a craft and a handout with additional activities to extend their learning at home.

Bricks 4 Kidz
Framingham

During Bricks 4 Kidz workshops, kids learn about science, technology and engineering while having fun.  They build cool stuff based on model plans designed by an architect and engineer. For the Christmas Break Workshops, you can choose between a morning and afternoon session, depending on the age of your child. During the morning session, kids (ages 4-6) build super hero vehicles and fantasy worlds with LEGO bricks. For the afternoon, older kids (ages 7-10) experiment with LEGO Technic bricks, motors, and remote controls.
