Summer has crept in under cover of June Gloom, and there are so many ways to enjoy it, in town or on the road. Already free summer concerts are rockin'; free summer movies are rolling, and great beaches are beckoning. Read on for the best of July in LA, Ventura, and Orange County. 4th of July Fireworks - Throughout LA, OC, & Ventura County

There are a LOT of places to enjoy fireworks on Independence Day, and we've collected a list of a bunch of the best (confirmed) pyrotechnic displays. Several other locations generally launch unofficial shows (e.g. Hillcrest Country Club & some barges off the coast of Malibu), so look in all directions come 9pm!
APOLLO 11 - An Immersive 360˚ Adventure - Pasadena

50 years ago Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. This live, immersive experience staged at the Rose Bowl tells the story of the men and women who made the Apollo 11 Moon Landing possible.

Kids get in free to these multicultural theatrical performances for children. (Don't worry, adults; your ticket is only $5.) Preshow activities include nature exploration and crafts.

Laguna's signature annual event, in which costumed performers recreate tableaux from classic paintings, kicks off its 2019 season as the daily climax of the Festival of Arts. This years theme of The Time Machine finds inspiration in steampunk/sci fi fantasies.
