Halloween Happenings at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary
- see all dates
At sundown this Halloween season, Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary will be transformed into a magical forest so come for a guided walk along the Halloween trail, home to some interesting characters that come out just for Halloween.
Learn firsthand about the creatures of the night on this fun family-friendly walk. Glowing luminaries and carved jack o'lanterns light the way.Children and adults are encouraged to come in costume, but dress warmly since you will be outdoors most of the time.
Allow about 1.5 hours total. At the end of the walk, warm up by the campfire as you enjoy fresh local cider and a treat.
Rain or shine. Please dress for the weather. Register early for this very popular event; walk-ins cannot be accomodated. When you arrive, check in in front of the Barn to receive your group number. Your entire group or party should be together before you are issued a group number to ensure that you go out together.
