Start Thanksgiving Day the healthy way with the annual Woodforest Turkey Trot. Participants can choose from the Mashed Potato Mile or the 5K Family Feast Walk/Run. Kids 12 & under can also run the Harvest Half Mile.

The race starts at Forest Island, 4665 Woodforest Parkway South.

Snacks and water will be provided. All runners receive a finisher medal and those registering by Nov. 17 will receive a race T-shirt. Race fee is $30.
