Author Sydney Shannon is coming to the Museum to read her newly published book, Why Did the Lord Create the Sea Otter? After, kids can meet the author and purchase a signed copy of her book*.

*The reading will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a meet-and-greet until 12:30 p.m., when Shannon will sign and sell copies of her book ($20 including tax).

In Why Did the Lord Create the Sea Otter? Noah from the Ark helps a character named Clive learn about the special purposes of sea otters like himself on earth.

The book is the first in the Noah’s Marine Life series, which will introduce animals from different areas of the world.
