National Youth Theater (NYT) announces auditions for Mary Poppins, a practically perfect musical based on the books by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film.

Auditions for this production are open to ages 8 to 19 and will be held Friday, September 6 with callbacks on Saturday, September 7.

Auditions, callbacks, and rehearsals will be held at Wildwood United Methodist Church located at 8911 Farm to Market Road 1488 in Magnolia.

Rehearsals begin September 13, with performances taking place November 8-10. The directorial team includes director Aimee Bowles, assistant director Holly Jasso, vocal director David Horn, and choreographer Alex Spencer. 

Those auditioning should prepare a musical theater song, 16-32 bars or one minute in length. Bring an accompaniment on your iPad, iPod, or Smartphone to sing with.
