Naturally Wild Families: Global Big Day for Families

Sat May 8, 2021
9:30am to 11:30am Central
$25 member / $40 nonmember (per family of up to 4; $5 per additional family member)

Be a part of a world record by joining the Houston Arboretum and more than 30,000 people around the globe in observing more than 7,000 bird species in a single day. You and your family will learn how to use free birding apps, locate different birds with and without binoculars, identify different birds that live at the Arboretum, and listen for different songs and calls. After, hit the trails and put your newfound knowledge to use!

Before class, create an account on, and download both the eBird and the Merlin® Bird ID app to any connected smart device. These are both 100% free.
