Join Houston Maritime Museum for the best holiday of the year: National Maritime Day! There will be FREE admission, drop-in activities and demonstrations, and docents available to provide tours of the exhibits.

10:00am-12:00pm
Pop into the Kids' Cove to construct a creative vessel that can hold the most crewmen.

11:00am-1:00pm
A master modeler will showcase his latest work and reveal the secrets to creating ships-in-a-bottle.

1:00pm-3:00pm
A retired Coast Guardsman will share the history of navigation and teach the processes of using the instruments.

2:00pm-4:00pm
Take a break in the Texas Navy Theatre to learn how to create a working compass out of household materials.
