Enjoy a short documentary on Plumshuga, a new play about the first Black lead ballerina in a major U.S. company: Houston’s own Lauren Anderson. Then, join Plumshuga author and former Houston poet laureate, Deborah D. E. E. P. Mouton and Stages Theater director Eboni Bell Darcy in a question and answer session with Lauren Anderson.  

At 7:45 p.m. watch Fame! which chronicles the lives of several teenagers who attend a New York high school for students gifted in the performing arts. (R) 1980, 140 minutes.
