The Heights Daddy-Daughter Dance is a magical event that celebrates the special bond between fathers and daughters. It's a night filled with enchanting moments, creating memories that last a lifetime. 

The event is dedicated to fostering a strong connection and creating a joyful experience for all attendees. The theme for this year's dance is "An Emerald Evening", inspired by the enchanting world of The Wizard of Oz, where costumes are encouraged to add to the magical atmosphere.

While the event stems from the tradition of a Daddy-Daughter Dance, every girl is welcome to attend with a father, stepfather, grandfather, mother, family friend, or any special role model in her life. 
 

The event combines an unforgettable night of connection with a powerful cause: supporting Girls on the Run Greater Houston, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls through confidence-building, leadership skills, and healthy relationships.

The inaugural dance is designed to become an annual Heights tradition—one that brings families together in joyful, meaningful ways.

An Emerald Evening – A Daddy–Daughter Dance will take place on February 21, 2026, at SPJST Lodge 88 in The Heights (1435 Beall St. Houston, TX 77008) from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
