Learn about the Gulf of Mexico during this fun and informative hike around the beach. Explore the swales and sand dunes as you learn about the ecosystem, plants, and animals of the sand and surf.

This hike has very little shade so hats and sunglasses are highly recommended. Plan ahead to get both wet and sandy. 

Sunscreen, bug spray, water, weather appropriate clothing and beach appropriate shoes are recommended.

This hike meets at Beachside Day Use at the blue flag.
