Sweet liquid gold is the star of the show during The Philadelphia Honey Festival. Throughout the weekend, guests are invited to celebrate at three different locations featuring a variety of activities.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, September 11 from 3 PM-5 PM: The Wagner Free Institute hosts a Pollinator Power event best suited for children ages 6-12. This event includes a pollinator lesson, waggle dance activity and open hive demonstration
Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM-4 PM: Wyck Historic Home, Garden and Farm features honey tasting, extractions, presentations, mead-making
Sunday, September 13 from 10:30 AM- 4 PM: Bartram's Gardens hosts a children's carnival and bee parade, honey extraction and open hive talk.
