Santa Monica Place’s Lunar New Year celebration returns with traditional Chinese lion dance performances, crafts for kids, and a Chinese dough artist.

Festive Lunar New Year decor, including overhead red and gold lanterns, make for a timely photo op.   In addition, guests who visit Santa Monica Place from January 23 through February 21 can hang their wishes for prosperity and renewal for the new year on cherry blossom Wishing Trees.
