Come enjoy the displays of intricately decorated Hinamatsuri dolls and learn about the songs, traditions and history that surrounds Japan’s Doll Festival, which celebrates the health and happiness of young girls. Also enjoy a live koto (Japanese harp) performance.

After admiring the displays and enjoying the interactive songs and activities, create your very own doll during the craft section of the event and take a mini practice lesson on the koto!

Recommended for children ages 3-10 and accompanying adults. Boys are welcome to participate.

Healthy Japanese light meals, snacks and festival-related refreshments available for purchase by BentOn.
