Children’s Museum of the Arts is a nonprofit arts facility bringing hands-on art programming to children ages 10 months-15 years throughout NYC. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the rotating exhibitions of contemporary art and make art alongside teaching artists in interactive studios, including the Fine Arts Studio, Media Lab, Clay Bar, and the WEE Studio (for children 5 and under). CMA is open to the public on Mondays from 12-5 PM, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-6 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM-6 PM. General Admission is $12 per person (ages 1-65).
Have a child under 5? Join a WEE Arts drop-in class when the museum is closed for general hours. Enjoy this special class environment filled with exploratory art-making, music time, and story time. Drop-in classes are offered Monday-Friday from 10:45 AM-12 PM for $25 per family.
CMA also offers art classes and camps, family workshops, and school and community events.
