92nd Street Y - Classes

92Y offers engaging classes for children and teens in art, music (including private lessons and vocal instruction), dance, theatre, and fitness, taught by world-class instructors. Musicians can join vocal, jazz, and orchestral ensembles. Gymnastics, swim, basketball, and other sports are coached in the modern, multi-level fitness facility. After school, 92Y offers school pick-ups and enrichment activities, available also for children and teens with special needs. Students in grades K-8 can be enrolled in the Monday-afternoon ATiD program (ATiD means “future” in Hebrew), a dynamic approach to Jewish learning after school, offering Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation and more. Families can spend time together in programs for parents and toddlers (Kids in the Kitchen, Art Smarts, and more) and other get-togethers. A.D. Players Performing Arts Academy - Classes

The A.D. Players Performing Arts Academy provides educational theatre opportunities for young artists ages 5-18. Combining creativity and ensemble, the Academy offers camps and classes in performance, technique, dance/movement, and auditions for musical theatre productions. Programming integrates a strong literary element, enabling students to explore a wide range of selections. The Academy welcomes students of all skill and experience levels and offers Arts for All programming for artists with learning differences.

Aerial Arts NYC- Children and Teen Circus Classes

Youth (Ages 5-12) and Teen Circus Classes are offered each week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Aerial Arts NYC. These classes will allow your child the opportunity to explore both ground and aerial circus arts in a non-competitive learning environment. A fast paced format keeps the student moving through a planned lesson, yet allows room for creativity, imagination, and a relaxed flow. Ailey Extension

Ailey Extension offers weekly Sunday classes that foster self-esteem, physical strength, and creativity. Classes include Tiny Steps for 2-year-olds and parents, Hip Hop 4 Kids (ages 7-11), and Teen Extension (ages 12-17). Teen Extension includes Contemporary Jazz, Ballet, and Hip-Hop classes at various levels. No placement audition or prior experience is necessary.
