Founded in 2007, Yogi Beans is a children's yoga company committed to introducing kids to a healthy, lifelong activity that is noncompetitive, non-judgmental, physically challenging and a lot of fun! Yogi Beans' classes develop children's abilities to focus (attention), stand up straight (posture), move their limbs with control (coordination) and grace (flexibility), and find inner strength (self-confidence). The curriculum is specifically designed to introduce children to the foundations of yoga and translate yoga concepts into a language that can be comprehended and appreciated.

At its kids-only yoga studio on the Upper East Side, Yogi Beans offers over 25 weekly classes from Baby Beans (6 Weeks) to Teens (16 Years), including New Mommy and Family Yoga classes. Yogi Beans also offers private sessions, birthday parties, professional development, teacher trainings, camp and school programming, parent and child classes and much more! Trials start at just $15 for new beans!

Westsiders can find Yogi Beans unique kids yoga classes at Pure Yoga West, including Me & My Bean Yoga (Walkers to 2 Years), Mini-Bean Yoga (3-5 Years), Bean Yoga (5-9 Years) and Tween Yoga (10-13 Years), as well as various kids yoga teacher training opportunities throughout the year.

Based out of its Upper East Side "kids-only" yoga studio since 2012, Yogi Beans offers over 20 children's and family yoga classes per week for babies to teens. Yogi Beans' exceptional after-school and classroom programs have been enjoyed at more than 80 public and private schools across the Tri-State Area. Yogi Tales

Yogi Tales is a 30-minute live music yoga experience for preschool-aged children that enhances physical flexibility, refines balance and coordination, and boosts self-esteem and confidence through an exciting interactive storytelling format. Grant Henry, an NYU Digital Media Design for Learning (M.A.) graduate and certified yoga teacher, leads children into a world of amazing adventures using a wide range of yoga poses and breathing techniques to help navigate through these incredible stories.

What makes Yogi Tales even more thrilling is the accompaniment of Evan Nachimson, a Berklee College of Music Songwriting graduate and kids musician, who combines his guitar and other instruments with original songs and scores to help fully create this immersive yogic experience for young children.

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg is an intensive and diverse program for students in 2nd through 12th grade. The program explores the creative process and helps develop skills in acting technique, teamwork, and leadership as it applies to stage, film, and television. 

During the school year classes meet on Saturdays, and during the summer special programs are offered during the week. The schedule consists of Acting, Movement, Voice, Dance, and Acting for Film & TV.

Young Gates provides various fun and interactive computer learning programs based on students' level of experience, from Scratch, Python, and Java to websites, apps, data sciences, and robotics. The program includes weekly online classes that are interactive, and kids can share the screen with their live instructor if they need help.
