“e” inc.’s Summer Science Discovery Program is back with all new activities for kids ages 6-12. Want to become an engineer and discover how to harness power from the sun? Curious to know what’s the most dangerous animal in Africa (its not what you think!)? With a variety of activities – conducting science experiments, building models, observing live specimens, artistic expression, rowing on the Little Mystic, field trips, etc. – there’s something for everyone at “e” inc.! Kids will gain an appreciation for the natural world, as well as learn skills to become environmental stewards.

Alexa Cafe: All-Girls STEM Camp

This summer, encourage the awesome in your daughter. At Alexa Café, girls ages 10-15 discover a passion for technology in a unique environment that celebrates creativity, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. Weeklong, collaborative courses are taught in small groups of just 8 girls per instructor—guaranteed—for the most personalized instruction. Girls learn engineering principles, code games, design websites, model 3D characters, snap photos, create films, print 3D objects, and much more.

Alexa Café is held at prestigious campuses nationwide, including Simmons, Bryn Mawr, Rice, and Georgia Tech. In addition to this all-girls summer program, iD Tech also offers weeklong camps for kids and teens, early-education STEM programs, teen-only academies, and an online learning platform.

All Sports Programs - US Sports Institute

US Sports Institute (USSI) is running summer sports programs at multiple MA locations in 2013.

USSI offers boys and girls ages 3-14 of all ability levels, the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports. Our flagship Multi-Sport Program provides participants with a fun-packed and enjoyable time where children will experience over 15 sports in one week! No other clinic can match the diverse experience that a player will receive at US Sports Institute's Multi-Sports week.

Single Sports Clinics allow participants to specialize in the sport of their choice for the entire week. Single sports offered include soccer, lacrosse, tennis, golf, field hockey and more. USSI has teamed up with the US Tennis Association to offer cutting edge summer clinics.

For children ages 3 to 5, the sport squirts program is an ideal introduction to the basics of 5 different sports, all in a fun, safe environment. Regardless of your class selection, you can be certain that each child will grow in an atmosphere that promotes integrity, self-esteem, positive values and good sportsmanship.

By day, Art Barn is a preschool dedicated to learning through experience and exploration of Art and Nature. We teach After school enrichment classes in Art and Ceramics. Arts Under the Umbrella Summer Camps

Arts Under the Umbrella Summer Camp offers Drawing & Painting, 2-D & 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Performance, Woodworking, and more. Each week is unique, with projects designed to engage your child’s creativity and artistic spirit. Half-, full-, and extended-day options are available. Ages 5-12.

Arts & Rec Camp: With Concord Rec., The Umbrella Community Arts Center combines a half-day arts and half-day recreation camp, with science and nature field trips, sports, swimming, and more. Campers are grouped by age/grade. Extended-day options are available. Ages 5-12.

Ninjas in Nature adventure day camp combines skills of nature, awareness, high-energy games, crafting with natural materials, and introductory ninjutsu—art of the ancient ninja. Students learn a variety of hands-on wildcrafting, survival, and stealth skills from building fires, woodworking, and shelter-making to tracking, foraging, and camouflage. Ages 8-12.

ArtSpan

ArtSpan, a year-round art school, opens its energetic classrooms in the summer for nine individually themed weeks of camp. This summer, let your child explore their creative side as they rotate through four classes that are one hour and 15 minutes each: visual arts, ceramics, theater, and an open studio makerspace. There is additional time for a snack break, lunch, and recess. Themes include Back to the Future, Into the Blue, Intergalactic, Mad Scientist, The Great Expedition, Dino Week, Wizard Week, Gone Camping, and Carnival.
