Harness your child’s passion for video games to fuel their future, strengthen self-confidence, and forge new friendships. Game Camp Nation offers weeklong and multi-week day and overnight summer camps for ages 7-17, where students learn to design video games, code, mod Minecraft, engineer music and sound effects, model 3D characters, and more. In each program, students learn new STEM skills which are necessary for success in today’s media-driven world: creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration. Students can earn XP and level up within our program by conquering harder and harder course challenges, and they can strive for our cap–the coveted level 30. It's also summer and time for some fun and relaxation. So, between their classes, students can play an FPS, RTS, or MOBA match in the media lab, take a swim in the pool, or play some Magic the Gathering.

Girls Who Code Boston

0

Help your daughter stand out in college admissions!

In middle school, 74% of girls express interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), but when choosing a college major, just 0.4% of high school girls select computer science.

The greatest career opportunities in the future will be in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) so it’s important that we begin encouraging young women to pursue these fields.

Support your daughter’s love of math or science by encouraging her to apply to the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program in Boston! The programs are FREE and open to 10th & 11th grade girls.

Programs are embedded in the Boston offices of Microsoft, Twitter, Verizon, TripAdvisor & Akamai!

Applications are open now at www.girlswhocode.com/apply! Applications are open until March 1 at 11:59pm PST.
