A Class Act NY's mission is to enrich children’s lives through the magic of performing arts in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Their instructors include prominent Broadway, TV, and film stars as well as casting directors and talent agents who will provide your child with a memorable and invaluable education.

Broadway professionals and on-camera actors teach all of the weekly classes in musical theatre, drama, on-camera, and voice-over acting. Actors Technique NY (ATNY) is a top TV/film acting school for kids and teens in NYC. The school offers classes all year round for ages 4 and up as well as weekly summer camps for ages 7 and up. Advancing the Community of Tomorrow, ACT, located on the 11-acre oasis of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is an education center that provides year-round affordable educational and recreational programs for infants, children, and teens from ages 6 months through 14 years. ACT provides one-to-one adult-toddler classes from age 9 months, an indoor PlayStation in winter for children 6 months to 5 years old, morning and afternoon nursery classes, a full-time preschool, an after-school program for ages 5-12, holiday camps, summer camps, and party services.

In the after-school program, children in K-5th grade can continue their day with a diverse community of new and familiar friends. Aerial Arts NYC- Children and Teen Circus Classes

Youth (Ages 5-12) and Teen Circus Classes are offered each week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Aerial Arts NYC. These classes will allow your child the opportunity to explore both ground and aerial circus arts in a non-competitive learning environment. A fast paced format keeps the student moving through a planned lesson, yet allows room for creativity, imagination, and a relaxed flow. Whether in the air or on the ground, this class aims to make exercise fun and promote self esteem while exploring many of the disciplines found under the big top.

Algonquin Arts Theatre

Algonquin Arts Theatre (AAT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992 with the mission to provide cultural enhancement and arts education to all audiences at the Jersey Shore.

PERFORMING ARTS
Since 1994, live music, dance, theatre and other popular entertainment programs have been presented. Performers range from individual artists and small ensembles to the full complement of major ballet companies and Broadway-style show casts. Performers come from just up the road and across the globe. Main Stage performances are drawing annual audiences of nearly 20,000.

EDUCATION
AAT offers valuable educational programs, diverse performances and artist-lead workshops to nearly 15,000 children, ages 3 to 18, from approximately 230 schools throughout Monmouth, Ocean and the surrounding counties. Our after school and summer Performing Arts Academy continues to grow with more than 250 students enrolled in at least one class during the 2011-12 year.

FILM
A variety of films, both independent and from major studios, are presented in the theatre year-round. The Reel History Film Series and Kidz Filmz, a film festival for children launched in 2012, are collaborations with the Garden State Film Festival.
