Child Educational Center's Summer Exploration Camps

Exploration, inspiration, fun, and friends await you at Child Educational Center's Summer Exploration Camps. Whether you choose the Exploration Day Camp series, Descanso Discoveries specialty camp, or Summer Enrichment Camp, your child(ren) will have a stimulating, adventure-filled experience as they play, discover, and explore at CEC's locations in La Cañada. Summer Exploration Camps are for children entering 1st through 7th grade, with select opportunities for children entering Kindergarten.

Play Club

Play Club believes in the power of play to teach, grow, and bring people together. At summer camp, your children will engage in what what Play Club calls deep play: they will be using their whole selves to engage fully in creative, imaginative, and meaningful child-led experiences. Younger children and older children will work together to create and explore, strengthening social and emotional intelligence through play. This camp is the perfect antidote to structured lessons, classes, product-based experiences, and over-scheduling that often takes over the life of the modern young child. At summer camp, Play Club strives to create an oasis where children can get down to the serious (and fun!) business of simply being children.

There are two programs available: A July camp in Cooper Park in Williamsburg and an August camp in and around McGolrick Park in Greenpoint. Pick your weeks and come play!

America's Soccer Camp

The mission of America's Soccer Camps is to create a fun camp environment with entertaining, interactive drills and games. This translates into players enjoying themselves, which in turn makes them want to play more. By creating a healthy and fun learning atmosphere, player development is inherent.

Camp focuses on providing a safe and instructional environment that fosters a true appreciation and love of soccer. The coaches are passionate about soccer and bring with them experience as both professional soccer players and coaches at the club and collegiate level.

Join America's Soccer Camp for a week of soccer fun! There are two convenient locations: Connecticut Sportsplex in North Branford, CT; and Wide World of Indoor Sports in Montville, CT. Please visit the website for more information and a schedule.
