Let's Cook, Long Island teaches children ages 2 and up about nutrition and healthy cooking through fun classes, camps, and birthday parties.
Each cooking class will start with a 30-minute educational activity or game followed by the class cooking 2-4 healthy recipes. Children are shwon how to make the recipe, and then they make it themselves! This is a fun, interactive hands-on cooking class. Classes will be 1 or 2 hours in length, depending on the age group being taught.
The signature 8-hour cooking program (4 classes, 2 hours long) will lay a solid foundation of cooking skills to last a lifetime. Your child will learn how to make healthy snacks, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for him/herself. This is a great core cooking program for any child who is looking to help with a family meal or just learn some important kitchen skills and build confidence in the kitchen.
