Kids Day America
Dallas Welcomes Kids Day America for the First Time — Where Health, Safety, and Community Come Together for Kids.
Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon that blends big smiles with life-changing impact. Enjoy a Dallas Police Department meet-and-greet, Sparky the Fire Dog and interactive safety demos, Bounce houses, face painting, crafts, raffles, food vendors, and hands-on activities. This kids’ festival is a mission to give parents a head start on protecting their children’s health and future—all while raising funds for The Wounded Warrior Project.
Holistic Health is the Real Prize:
Beyond the fun and games, Kids Day America is built around the powerful idea that true wellness starts with identifying and addressing the root causes of health issues — not just masking symptoms.
Dr. Meier Miller, a board-certified local chiropractor specializing in pediatric nervous system health and holistic wellness (and her team), will provide free spinal screenings designed to detect imbalances that may affect posture, nerve function, and overall health. By focusing on the nervous system — the master controller of all body functions — early detection can help prevent future pain, developmental delays, and chronic conditions.
Complimentary orthodontic checks will be conducted by Dr. Irish Abigail Tongco's team, a board-certified orthodontist with advanced technology to spot early jaw and bite concerns, preventing long-term dental complications.
Families will also receive education on bicycle, helmet, car seat, and internet safety, empowering kids with practical skills to stay safe every day.
A highlight of the day will be Dallas Fire Chief Justin Ball receiving one of the few Kids Day America Child Achievement Awards, honoring his outstanding dedication to protecting and empowering local families and children.
