Atlanta Christmas Tree Farms: Know Before You Go

  • Call or check the farm's social media BEFORE you head out to confirm the Christmas tree farm is open for visitors and trees are in stock and ready to be cut and taken home. Also, confirm payment options as some farms may not accept cash or credit cards.
  • Try to cut your own Christmas tree early in the season as many Christmas tree farms will close once their supply is sold out.
  • Dress appropriately. Atlanta's winter weather is hard to gauge but it's always a good idea to wear close-toed shoes. If you are taking family photos at the farm, consider bringing a change of clothes so no one gets too messy with tree needles, dirt, and spilled hot chocolate.
  • Think about Fido! Some Christmas tree farms allow visitors to bring the family dog on a leash, so confirm if that's an option for the farm you visit.
