Connecticut's Founding Fish - Essex
Have a fisherman in the family? This new exhibit at the CT River Museum features artwork, fishing equipment, a skiff and other items related to shad and shad fishing.

Tuesday, March 21
Public Planetarium Show and Stargazing – New Haven
The planetarium show "Undiscovered Worlds" is shown tonight at 6pm. In addition, the observatory's main telescope is open for public viewing from 7pm to 9pm. Public viewing is weather dependent, check the website to confirm.

Wednesday, March 22
Wildlife Exploration Club – New Canaan
Bill Flynn, Director of Animal Care with the New Canaan Nature Center, will demonstrate ALL he knows about the diverse habitats at the Nature Center and teach hands-on skills with the Nature Center’s collection of animals. Students will get to help handle and care for the captive animals at the Nature Center. They will also be able to handle and study the native wild animals found in the center's ponds, fields, and forests.

Museum Children Free Week – Litchfield
See a life-sized beaver lodge, learn about alternative energy, touch real animal fur, and test your bird identification skills, visit a fluorescent rock cave, and view nature through a digital macro-scope! Explore the Children’s Corner: books, puzzles, stuffed animals, and more at White Memorial Conservation Center this week.
