Happy New Year! I'm not much for resolutions, but every year I promise myself to spend more time being present and engaged with my children. This year, as my oldest works through his first year of middle school, time seems especially short, and I'm on the hunt for activities that we can enjoy together that don't involve Minecraft, YouTube, or bottle flipping. Happily, there's a lot going on across the state this week, including a birds of prey demo, an open art studio, and even a great drop off activity that will give you a night off.
Check out our January Go List for our recommendations for don't miss events across the state this month (act soon if you want to score tickets for Disney on Ice in Bridgeport or Hartford). For even more suggestions take a peek at our frequently updated Event Calendar. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest so you don't miss a thing!
