New London’s 25 year spring running tradition continues with Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and a community health and fitness festival with a multiple distance road race for all ages and abilities.

Bring the family and participate in the HMF FitKids Run- a ¼ mile or ½ mile race for kids ages 2-11.

The 5K offers competitive and casual runners a great 3.1 mile race while also welcoming walkers and families with strollers. 

The 10K appeals to those looking for a little more distance in a spring road race or athletes challenging themselves to set a PR. 

All participants receive a high quality short sleeve technical shirt and complimentary race photo to keep and share the race memory forever.

The L+M Hospital Spring Stride 5K is the first event in the 3-race Progressive Challenge, which offers training plans to gradually increasing race distance to the UConn Health 10K in June and then tackle the Eversource Hartford Half Marathon in October.  Finishers earn bragging rights and a Challenge medal.

The L+M Hospital Spring Stride 10K is the first event in the 3-race CT Challenge. The endurance feat brings participants to the Mystic Half Marathon in May and then on to 26.2 at CT's signature event, the Eversource Hartford Marathon, where they'll be awarded with a classic stately medal.
