Apple Run/Walk 5K / Candy Apple Kids Fun Run
The Second Annual Apple Run, hosted by St Catherine of Siena in Trumbull, CT promises to be a terrific way to start off “Apple Season” in Connecticut. There will be a 5K run (or walk) event which will be Computer Timed. The Candy Apple Kids Run for 3rd grade & under is a non-competitive, un-timed fun run for all abilities!
For those that can’t be with us but want to support the event, there will be a Virtual Apple Run & Walk that you can enjoy from anywhere and at any time!
All proceeds will benefit St. Catherine of Siena School & its students.
The 5k course will be in the Nichols area of Trumbull- very similar to the well known "Jingle Bell Run" that takes place on the first Saturday in December. Expect some rolling hills and great scenery along the way.
Here's the link to the Police Approved course for the 5K- https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7293270
(courses are always subject to slight changes after official measuring is finished)
The shorter walk course will start at the same time & place but have a cutoff thru the neighborhood onto Erwin Rd so you can get back to the festivities even faster!

For the kids run we encourage all abilities. We will be watching the pre-registration to determine if we will have two separate runs, at varying distances, if we see a wide age range. We do limit the kids to 3rd grade and under, please.
