Enjoy a Children's Country Fair complete with Crafts for Kids to Make, Touch-a-Truck, Children's Book Sale, Giant Inflatables, Entertainment, Food, Games, Silent Auction, Cake Walk, and Toddler Bubble Garden
For the past two decades on a Saturday in early spring, all of Redding has rallied on behalf of the Mark Twain Library for a uniquely colorful event: The Frog Frolic — A Children's Country Fair.
Named as a nod to the library's illustrious founder, Mark Twain, and his short story, The Celebrated Frog of Calaveras County, the Frog Frolic has become Redding's highly anticipated kick-off to spring. Last year, 1,100 people of all ages attended — coming from right down the road and from miles away —to delight in the games, crafts, entertainment, and food.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Parking, Admission and Entertainment are FREE. Tickets cost 50 cents apiece to play games, make crafts, and bounce. Refreshments are available for a nominal cost.
