Maple Day at the Stanley-Whitman House
This sweet event will feature tapping a maple tree for sap and boiling maple tree sap over an open fire and at the hearth as part of the sugaring process demonstrated by historic interpreter, Dennis Picard.
The historic house will be open for tours and there will be a host of other activities for visitors related to the making of maple sugar and other winter activities undertaken by people of colonial Farmington. This event is family-friendly and is FREE. Tours of the historic house are free for members can be added on for nonmembers at our regular rate.
