Children can decorate their own wooden nutcrackers, craft delicate paper ballerinas, and enjoy a snack of gingerbread cookies and apple cider! Museum Educator Catherine Lipper will also discuss the historic significance of decorative nutcrackers in German folklore and their popularity thanks to Tchaikovsky’s famous Nutcracker Ballet.
