The brand new Prosser Library in Bloomfield will host Nowashe Village educator Miss Lindsay as part of their Native American Heritage Month programming. Miss Lindsay will share a day in the life of Indigenous peoples in central Connecticut.

This program will specifically highlight the foodways and material culture of the Woodland Period (c. 3,000-400 years ago). Other highlights include: how Indigenous Peoples used the natural resources around them, how gender roles were divided and how they hunted and prepared food. For All Ages.
