The DuSable Museum of African American Art hosts a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration, including music, lectures, performances, and crafts for the entire family to enjoy. 

Participants: Performer and Public Speaker Marcus Gentry, The Cook County Bar Association, arts and crafts provided by The Department of Community Engagement-UIC, Performing Artist Momma Kemba, South SIde Projections, Poet, Author, and Actor J. Ivy, Singer, Songwriter, and Actress Torae Richardson, Professor Emeritus Dr. Christopher Reed, Curator Julius Jones, and The League of Women Voters
