Chicago's Night Sky
- see all dates
The Adler Planetarium hosts Chicago's Night Sky, an exhibit featuring real science and research from several of Adler’s initiatives focused on measuring light pollution in Chicago and finding solutions to restore and protect dark skies. Guests can explore the Community Star Studio, an interactive workshop where they can discover ways to creatively connec the night sky using a variety of mixed media to interpret, design, draw, color, or construct an image of their own personal connections.
From the host: "In a dark sky, you can see about 4,500 stars with the naked eye. In Chicago's sky, you can see about 35.

Chicago’s Night Sky will feature real science and research from several of the Adler’s program initiatives, including Far Horizons, Youth Organized for Lights Out, and Zooniverse.
