Ailey Experience hosts workshops for kids 8 and up, no previous experience required, introducing them to Hip-Hop, Horton Technique, and Ailey Classics with leading instructors and former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater company members. Participants will learn the rich history of Ailey’s signature style and how he changed the perception of American modern dance.

These works feature classic blues, gospel, traditional spirituals, and jazz songs that are essential to Ailey’s work."
