Families gather at parks across the country to light lanterns and celebrate the end of daylight savings time. Kids can make lanterns before dusk, sing songs, and enjoy a walk throughout the park. Several locations throughout the Chicago area will host Tinkergarten events, including Lake View Nature Center in Oak Brook Terrace, Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, and United Church of Rogers Park Children's Garden in Rogers Park.
