Spring Flower Show: Golden Hour
The Garfield Park Conservatory hosts its spring flower show, "Golden Hour," which celebrates the golden light of dawn and dusk with a focus on the effects of the sun and other celestial bodies on plants using colorful displays of azalea, hydrangea, and calibrachoa. Special features this year include immense hanging baskets overflowing with spring flowers, and two rope-art displays depicting the vibrant rays of the sun.
Since the golden hour is a special time for photographers, the display will also feature tips and tricks for amateur plant photographers! The Garfield Conservatory is open 9am-5pm daily, and late until 8pm on Wednesdays.
