It doesn't have to be May or October to enjoy a cold German beer, sausage or pretzel. Families can join in the German festivities at Lombard's Sacred Heart German Fest during the third weekend in July. Activities include free bingo, quarter games and carnival rides for kids, bike raffle, Dan the Balloon Man, and live music for all ages.
