In the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s message of giving back, the Anti-Cruelty Society hosts a day of service, where volunteers can help improve the lives of homeless pets.

Activities include:

  • Live dog demos with training tips
  • Meet and greet with shelter pets
  • Crafting toys for shelter pets
  • Q& A with shelter staff

WHEN:  Monday, January 20

Session 1: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. for groups of 10 or more. Reservations required. Email education@anticruelty.org for details.

Session 2:  12 –3 p.m. for individuals and families – no reservations required.

WHERE: The Anti-Cruelty Society, 169 W. Grand Ave. Chicago
